Kids Tennis Programs
The Redcliffe Tennis Centre’s facilities cater for players of all ages and skill levels. We are an accredited provider of Tennis Australia’s official Tennis Hot Shots Junior Tennis program, aimed at children aged 3-12.
Wet weather options are available for some of our coaching programs. Prices are subject to change without notice. All junior coaching fees are paid per term in advance or through direct debit. Please call us for further details. We do not offer casual rates.

Kindy Blue
The Kindy Blue program is specifically designed to enhance children’s fundamental perceptual motor skills. Through fun games and challenging activities players will learn skills such as movement, balance, throwing, catching, tracking and striking. Once successfully mastering this program, players will graduate to the Hot Shots Kids Tennis Program.
Beginner Red
The Beginner Red program is a 45 minute tennis specific gross motor skills development program for players aged 4-6. Lessons concentrate on teaching children the basic hand-eye co-ordination, movement, and ball and racquet skills that are necessary in order to progress to playing the game with full size equipment and playing surfaces. Lessons are extremely fun and exciting, in a circuit type games sense format, involving a great variety of games to maximise enjoyment and involvement in the lesson.
Intermediate Orange
The Intermediate Orange program is a 45 or 60 minute lesson where children learn the advanced techniques, complete tactical awareness and psychology in the game of singles and doubles using Focus Tennis Academy’s learn-n-play teaching techniques. This program is ideal for players aged 7-10. The program enables maximum improvement in match play and it is recommended that children enrol in a second coaching class per week to help reach their full potential. Players are strongly recommended to play in the Friday Junior Fixtures.
Advanced Green
The Advanced Green program is a 60 minute lesson where children learn the advanced techniques, complete tactical awareness and psychology in the game of singles and doubles using Focus Tennis Academy’s learn-n-play teaching techniques. This program is ideal for players aged 9 & up. The program enables maximum improvement in match play and it is recommended that children enrol in a second coaching class per week to help reach their full potential. Teen Tennis
Focus Tennis Academy’s Teen Tennis Program is designed for players who have either graduated from our Hot Shots Program, or players who are new to the sport but too old to be a part of the Hot Shots Program, and give them the opportunity to participate and enjoy the sport in a recreational manner rather than competitively.
The aim of the program is to provide the ability for players aged 12 -17 to continue to be actively participating in the sport in a fun and friendly environment. Players will be coached by our own qualified coaching staff with the direction of the program driven towards fun and fitness.
Squad Training – Yellow & Elite Tournament
The High Performance program is run in a squad format that integrates higher level tactics, complete technique development and tennis psychology to accelerate improvement using Focus Tennis Academy’s unique learn-n-play game sense teaching and physical training strategies. Training takes the form of on-court high intensity point structured drills, live rallying drills, serving and returning routines, structured tactical point play and structured tennis specific fitness.
All sessions are goal orientated to each players specific needs and the program is periodised for tournament play at the end of each term. This program is ideal for advanced players that are serious about their game and striving towards, or already playing tournaments.
Focus Tennis High Performance Academy
Currently Redcliffe Tennis Centre offers a full-time program for intermediate to advanced players who are serious about their tennis.

The Focus Tennis Academy coaches are friendly and highly skilled and qualified. They are passionate about helping people reach their full tennis potential whilst having fun and developing a love of the game. All our coaches have an Australian Government issued Blue Card.
